In March of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced nonprofits around the US to shut down 93% of their volunteering programs. As a result, vulnerable communities were left without critical lifelines, and millions of families and individuals could no longer find the help they rely on every day.
For the past 22 years, VolunteerMatch has served as the impact sector's go-to resource for matching dedicated volunteers with organizations supporting and serving their communities.
Due to the pandemic, recruiting enough volunteers has been the challenge of a lifetime for nonprofits around the country. Throughout this time, VolunteerMatch has empowered countless organizations with the tools and resources required to not only get their programs up and running again, but to see them thrive.

$5 matches two volunteers with a nonprofit organization, a tax-deductible contribution of $20 equips up to 10 nonprofits with more power than they had yesterday to advance the causes that are important to you. With a recurring donation of just $5 per month, 30 nonprofits will be able to better support their communities each year.
